CHAPTER TWELVE

"How are we going to learn what it feels like to have a curse put on us without someone attempting to put one on us?" Drago Monkshood asked.

"Now, that is a very astute question, Drago," Ms. Wadleigh commented. "The answer to it is rather simple as well. You can't, it must be experienced first hand."

"But..." Drago began, but the teacher held up her hand to silence him.

"That's why I'm going to attempt to put a simple curse on each of you, this will give you a opportunity to see what one feels like along with giving you your first chance to allow one to pass through you without harm," she told them.

Up until that moment, there had been some small side conversations taking place around the room, but with that one little sentence she seemed to get everyone's attention. The only whispers around the room now were from people who didn't quite catch it, or didn't believe their ears.

"What did she say?"

"Put a curse on us!"

"No way, she didn't say that!"

"She's gonna do what!!!"
